留学生居留许可延期一般在到期前1-2个月向国科大提出申请。

居留许可延期办理所需材料：
（PDF或图片格式，打包发给nwu@sibs.ac.cn）
1. 护照本人页
2. 现有居留许可页
3. 最后入境章页
4. 当地派出所签发的住宿登记页
5. 延期学生须提供由导师签字，研究院盖章后的《留学生修业期限签证延期申请表》（点击下载）

自付保费学生还需提供平安保险购买凭证。

Dear Student,

If your residence permit is going to expire in 1-2 months please send the following documents to the Office of Graduate Students Affairs (nwu@sibs.ac.cn) within a Zip or RAR package with your name and passport as the title. And the title of the email should be "about residence permit extension+your name".

Please know:
★ If you miss the extension, you will face the penalty of illegal stay.
★ If your passport is renewed recently or will change please know you are required to renew the residence permit within 10 days as the new passport is received.

For Visa Extension please send the following documents (pdf or image):
1. ID page of passport
2. Residence permit page
3. Last entry seal page
4. Accommodation registration form issued by local police station
5. Application form for visa extension(approved by supervisor and stamped by institute) (Down load)
(* No.5 is required only for students on/above third grade.)
6. Buying certificate of PingAn Insurance (if you are supposed to pay premium by yourself)
